Exhibition at the WIELS in Brussels .

Exhibition “Evelyne Axell: Contestatory Images”

From October 22, 2010 to January 16, 2011

The exhibition “Evelyne Axell, images contestataires” presents a dozen artworks related to  the protest movements and politics of the late sixties. This is perhaps not the main theme of the work of Evelyne Axell but it is however very important especially for the clear testimony she gives on the protest movements of that period and the perception of the artist on these social changes.
